Things to Know

You have options when it comes to your rate:

• Remain on the Time Advantage Energy Rate: Continue benefitting from economy pricing during low demand hours, but you will be responsible for adjusting your thermostat yourself.

• Change Rate Plans: Visit alabamapower.com/rates to learn about your options and call our Customer Service Team at 1-800-245-2244 to complete the process. Our team is available Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Central.

If you change rate plans, you may be eligible to join Smart Peak Rewards™ after October 1st:

• Smart Peak Rewards: Smart Peak Rewards is an alternative to Smart Advantage that uses smart thermostat technology to automatically shift some of your energy use away from high-demand hours. You'll get $50 when you sign up and $25 for each season you participate! Plus, if you need an eligible smart thermostat, you may qualify to save up to $200 on the cost if you buy and enroll today.
